The Island of Ibiza

There's so much more to the beautiful Balearic island of Ibiza than the clubbing scene which is so famous (or should we say infamous?). You don't have to be under 25 to enjoy a holiday here! The climate is wonderful, of course, and there are absolutely loads of great beaches - including secluded little coves - and sports and watersports facilities aplenty. The sea around Ibiza is amongst the cleanest in the Mediterranean; many of the beaches are continually awarded the coveted EEC Blue Flags.

Away from the beaches, inland, there's lots to see; churches and windmills dot the landscape. Ibiza has 3 mountain ranges between which are lovely valleys with over 1000 different plants and 23 different types of orchids.

Santa Eulalia, Ibiza

Sta Eulalia is only 21kms from the airport and is a popular holiday destination for families and people who prefer a quieter holiday. There is a lovely, sandy beach (safe for children), beautiful palm-lined promenade and a wide choice of accommodation - from hotels to self-catering - both in the town itself and in the surrounding area.

Santa Eulalia's reputation as the island's gastronomic and cultural centre is well deserved. Some of Ibiza's best restaurants are here, and there are also art galleries, the beautiful Yacht Marina (very exclusive!) and some very up-market shopping opportunities! The pace of life here is rather slower and more relaxing than in Ibiza town or San Antonio. In short, Sta Eulalia is a stylish and up-market resort.

Formentera Island

Formentera is a small island, covering an area of only 90 sq kms. and the sea is visible from almost any point of the island. There are many lovely beaches and secluded bays - some with amazing grottos. The climate, with springtime temperatures during most of the year, rich vegetation of pines and palms, and quiet and relaxed ambience make Formentera a real paradise.
